unsurprised and unimpressed, but they’ll still sell truckloads.

I wonder if the center caps will work with the previous TRD pro wheel. I could go for red center caps since I have a red 4Runner.

Old vs. New for comparison. The new design looks to have a dark gunmetal color to it with a bit more sheen. Maybe it’s just the lighting.

Yes, that was my point too. Not that it had red centercaps, but that that's all that changed.

Not bad but the dimples on the rim totally ruin it for me.

In terms of OE they unfortunately only come in a 7in width.. But, I wonder if there are any aftermarket companies which mass produce something similar, Yet wider?

Do these sit flush, or even close to flush with the 4mm offset on our trucks?

Thanks, man, I love it. No pacers were needed since the rear spacing of TRD Pro is about 4-5/8", compared to 6-1/4"-something+ on the OEM polished rims. So they're pushed out 1.5"+, creating a more flushed look without the need for wheel hub spacers.

The new setup included 255/75/R17 Firestones Destination A/Ts, Bilstein 5100s, and Supreme Suspension 3/2 lift spacers - incredibly smooth (a bit firmer yet comfortable), quiet and more solid ride. I just (test) drove about 275 miles to Las Vegas this Friday, the next day after pick up - night pic of arrival at the Encore Hotel. My 7-year stock ride is freaking awesome now - especially with the newly-installed-rumbling-and-butt-kicking Gibson exhaust!

Quick plug for my buddy, as usual: Harry and his crew at A1 Automotive and Smog in Alhambra and San Gabriel , So Cal - did an outstanding install and alignment. Good to go.

  • Toyota has revealed the TRD Pro–exclusive Lunar Rock exterior color for the 2021 model year 4Runner, Tacoma, Tundra, and Sequoia TRD Pro models.
  • The 2021 4Runner TRD Pro models also get new TRD wheels, updated Fox shocks, TRD-tuned springs, and standard LED headlights.
  • Expect to see the new trucks at dealers by the end of the year.

UPDATE 8/20/20:This article has been updated with pricing for the 2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro

UPDATE 7/30/20: This article has been updated with pricing for the 2021 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro and Tundra TRD Pro.

Each year, Toyota introduces a hot new color for the off-road-ready 4Runner, Tacoma, Tundra, and Sequoia TRD Pro models. We've seen some great attention-grabbing colors such as Army Green, Quicksand, and Voodoo Blue, and for the 2021 model year, the TRD Pro trucks get a subtle new Lunar Rock exterior color. As with the rest of the TRD Pro–specific exterior colors, we can't stop daydreaming about getting them dirty.

Along with the bluish green and gray exterior color, the 2021 4Runner TRD Pro gets updated wheels. They look very similar to the ones we've come to know and love but with a more angular look, and they're wrapped in Nitto Terra Grappler tires. In addition to the new shoes, the TRD Pros get updated 2.5-inch Fox internal-bypass shocks and TRD-tuned springs, which give an added inch of lift in the front. Sound familiar? That's because the new 2020 Jeep Gladiator Mojave has a similar setup as well as an extra inch of lift up front compared to the Rubicon model.

Additionally, all 2021 4Runners will have standard LED headlights. Limited, blacked-out Nightshade, and TRD Pro models add LED high-beams with standard LED fog lights. And don't forget the Tacoma, Tundra, and Sequoia TRD Pro models; they also get the Lunar Rock exterior color for the 2021 model year, but not the updated suspension setup or the LED lights.

The new trucks should all arrive toward the end of 2020 starting at $51,645 for the 4Runner TRD Pro, $54,645 for the Tundra TRD Pro, $45,250 for the Tacoma TRD Pro, and close to $65,000 for the Sequoia TRD Pro.
